As we move out of the holiday season and into January, maintaining clear
merchandising standards across the market becomes especially important. These transitions help ensure Belleville continues to feel intentional, elevated, and easy to shop—especially as guests shift their mindset from holiday gifting to everyday discovery.
Please take note of the following key dates:
Holiday NFS / Prop Décor Removal — No Later Than January 11
All non-sellable holiday décor and props should be fully removed from selling areas by January 11. This includes purely decorative holiday elements used for visual merchandising purposes. Clearing these items allows the market to reset visually and begin the new year with a clean, cohesive presentation.
Sellable Holiday & Clearance Merchandise — Through February 4
Sellable holiday décor and seasonal items may remain on the floor through our Winter Sale Holiday, but should be fully cleared no later than February 4. This timeline is designed to give you adequate opportunity to move through clearance items while keeping the overall market experience fresh and seasonally appropriate.
Why This Matters
Consistent
merchandising standards help Belleville feel less like a collection of individual spaces and more like a unified neighborhood department store. Clear transitions signal intention to our guests, support stronger sell-through, and allow new product stories to take center stage.
If you have questions about transitions, placement, or next steps for your space, Belleville Merchant Support is here to help. Thank you for partnering with us to keep the market looking its best as we head into the new year.
