General Merchant Discount and Promotion Policy

General Merchant Discount and Promotion Policy

Merchants are encouraged to run promotions and sales on their merchandise.

We do not allow our Guest Services Associates to take manual discounts on items, so all  Merchant sales and promotions will need to be reflected in the POS software by updating pricing as required by the software. It is the Merchant’s responsibility to update the price to reflect the discounted price prior to your sale and then update the price once the sale has ended. Belleville Market is not responsible for items that ring up incorrectly.

Alternatively, for your convenience, we may be able to assist you with creating your discounts and promotions in the system. Please see a Belleville Market team member for more information.

No perpetual or excessive unit-wide sales are allowed.

Additionally, the POS system does not currently support special discounts when items are purchased in multiples [e.g. $5 off 1 or 2 for $8], therefore we will not be able to honor this type of promotion.
