General "Haggling" Policy

General "Haggling" Policy

Belleville Market will not participate in the practice of negotiating discounts with customers. Unless a discount or promotion is advertised, merchants should consider all merchandise as firm.

Belleville Market staff will not call individual merchants to inquire about discounts for individual items.

We also expect merchants to refrain from this practice if they happen to engage with guests on such occasions when they are in the store.
