Oftentimes “more” is not always better when making consistent sales.
Our experience has been that if customers cannot see merchandise beyond clutter, sales will likely suffer. Equally, if customers are unable to move about in your selling area comfortably without concern for knocking over merchandise or tripping over something, they will not venture into your space.
We ask that Merchants not fill their units excessively. Less can indeed be more.
All smaller merchandise should be housed on shelves, fixtures, or furniture of some kind. Customers don’t shop from the floor and could even trip or otherwise damage Merchant’s items.
Additionally, Merchants must keep merchandise within their assigned booth space and not in the aisles. The aisles must be clear at all times. Fixtures with doors that open into a main aisle should be placed far enough back within a booth space so as not to impede normal traffic.
Merchants are required to refresh and clean their unit no less than once a month. This will help your sales and will improve the overall look of the store.
