At Belleville Market, we firmly believe that if there are feet on the street, our doors should be open. Our operating hours are designed to maximize opportunities for our merchants while providing a consistent shopping experience for our guests.

In rare circumstances, severe weather or other unforeseen events may require the Market to close. We will communicate any closures as quickly as possible through our normal communication channels.

Merchants are welcome to visit, stock, merchandise, and maintain their selling spaces during normal business hours.

In addition, Belleville Market may periodically offer designated merchant hours outside of normal operating hours. These opportunities will be communicated in advance and are intended for activities such as major restocks, merchandising projects, inventory work, and other selling space maintenance.

Outside of scheduled merchant hours, merchants may only access the building during regular business hours.

Merchants may not enter the building prior to the scheduled opening time unless participating in an approved merchant access period.

The time before opening is reserved for Guest Services Associates to complete opening procedures, prepare the sales floor, and ensure the Market is ready to welcome guests.

Merchants should conclude any work and exit the building no later than the scheduled closing time unless otherwise authorized by Market management.

The time after closing is reserved for Guest Services Associates to complete closing procedures, secure the building, and finalize end-of-day operations.

We encourage merchants to plan larger projects, major restocks, inventory counts, and merchandising changes during designated merchant hours whenever possible. This minimizes disruption to guests, allows projects to be completed more efficiently, and helps maintain the shopping experience that Belleville Market is known for.
