Unacceptable Merchandise

The following items are not permitted at Belleville Market:
  1. Guns and Firearms
  2. Knives
  3. Pornography/nude photography
  4. Political Items
  5. Illegal Paraphernalia
  6. Vintage/used upholstered items such as furniture, quilted bedding, pillows, etc.
  7. Used pet toys and other soft items, such as beds
  8. Items with a noticeable odor 
  9. No hazardous, dangerous, or endangered materials of any kind
  10. Racially-insensitive items of any nature
  11. Unauthorized reproductions of copyrighted material
  12. Items obtained from unapproved sources
These guidelines are not intended to be all-inclusive or to address every possible situation. We may ask you to remove items deemed inappropriate, undesirable, or junky even if they are within these guidelines. Should this occur, we will notify you before removing the item and will place it in Lost and Found. Any items not claimed after 30 days will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of or donated.

Any fines levied by an outside agency for selling improper goods are the responsibility of the Merchant. Items will be removed by Belleville Market at management’s sole discretion, if Merchant does not remove them immediately upon notification.

In case of dispute, Belleville Market will make the final decision.
