The rear parking lot is private property, and parking privileges are assigned and monitored by the building’s ownership and management. Belleville does not have the authority to grant parking access to merchants, their employees, representatives, contractors, or agents unless a parking permit has been specifically issued by the building.
Effective immediately, merchants and their agents may not park in the rear lot at any time. The rear area may only be accessed for active loading or unloading that has been approved and scheduled in advance. Vehicles must be removed promptly once loading or unloading is complete. The building ownership actively monitors the lot.
Unauthorized parking will result in an immediate offset against the merchant’s account or upcoming payout:
Use of the rear loading dock or backroom must be requested and scheduled with Belleville at least 24 hours in advance.
Loading dock and backroom access is not permitted on Saturdays or Sundays. Unscheduled access may be denied, even if a merchant has already arrived at the building.
These requirements are necessary to comply with building regulations, protect Belleville’s parking and access privileges, and maintain safe and orderly operations.
