At Belleville Market, we use our Instagram account to promote the Market as a whole—sharing the unique experience of shopping here, spotlighting our community, and spreading the word about events and happenings.  We also believe you can tell your brand’s story far better than we ever could, which is why we love bringing merchant voices into the mix through Instagram Collaborator posts that appear on both your feed and the official @BellevilleMarket page.

We encourage all merchants to request collaborations—it’s a great way to gain exposure and connect with our broader community! That said, here are a few important things to keep in mind:

Content Guidelines

  1. Focus on your space: All collaborator post content must feature your selling space within Belleville Market. This can include product shots, styled displays, behind-the-scenes setups, or shopper interactions—anything that highlights your physical presence in the Market.
  2. Exclusively Belleville-focused: Content for collaborations should highlight your presence at Belleville Market specifically, rather than directing traffic to outside sales channels or other retail locations. We do, however, encourage you to use your own platforms freely to promote your business as a whole—your growth benefits the entire Market community!
  3. High-quality visuals: Clear, well-lit photos or videos are key. Make sure your content aligns with the overall aesthetic and vibe of Belleville Market.
  4. Authentic storytelling: Posts that share your brand story, inspiration, or process behind the scenes often resonate best.
  5. Products must be in stock: We do not accept collaborator posts featuring “coming soon,” preview items, or products not yet available. Everything shown must be currently purchasable at Belleville Market.

Requesting a Collaboration

  1. You’re welcome to tag @BellevilleMarket and use relevant hashtags like #BellevilleMarket in your posts at any time.
  2. To request a Collaborator post, simply do so my following the instructions via your Instagram account. 
  3. Please limit requests to 1–2 per month so we can ensure fairness and maintain a consistent content schedule.
  4. All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. While we’d love to share every post, please note that collaborations are not guaranteed.
