To ensure a faster checkout process and an improved guest experience, all products—including those using jewelry tags—must now include a scannable barcode. This update supports accuracy at the register, better inventory tracking, and consistent labeling throughout the Market.
(Please not: this service is only reserved for Jewelry Labels until we have the ability to create a working template. As a rule, all Merchants are required to print their own labels corresponding to the size of the template in ConsignCloud.)
ConsignCloud Limitation & Our Solution
At this time, ConsignCloud does not support a jewelry tag template with barcodes. As a workaround, we’re offering free jewelry tag printing for merchants who provide us with the correct labels:
✔️ DYMO 30299 LW 2-Up Jewelry/Price Tag Labels (3/8" x 3/4") or a compatible equivalent.
Please supply us with a full box of labels—we’ll store them for you and use them for all of your future print requests.
- This allows us to fulfill your requests more quickly without needing new labels each time.
- Please allow at least 2 business days’ notice for printing. We cannot print on demand.
- We will notify you once your tags are ready for pickup.
- To request printing, please complete this form:

Jewelry Label Use Guidelines
- Jewelry tags should only be used for items where the tag must be affixed directly to the item—such as bracelets, rings, or necklaces.
- If your item has a backing, hangtag, or card, please use one of the standard-sized labels instead.
- Merchants are responsible for tagging their own items after the labels have been printed.
- Items should never be left in selling areas untagged or unlabeled.
Why It Matters
- Scannable barcodes streamline the checkout process and reduce errors.
- Guests receive a faster, smoother shopping experience.
- Accurate labeling supports proper payout and inventory reporting for all merchants.
Already Using Shopify or Another POS?
If you're using a system like Shopify, you can continue printing your own jewelry tags—as long as they include a barcode.
Just make sure the UPC field in Shopify matches the SKU (or is a compatible equivalent) in ConsignCloud—this ensures that the item can be scanned and recognized at the register without issues.
